ABOUT THE CONVENTION
Sometime around 1963, eastern MA (Area 30) and western MA (Area 31) decided to host a state-wide convention to foster AA unity, service, and recovery across Massachusetts.
The two areas formed a joint committee to select a site, develop a program and host the first MA State Convention (MSC), with Al-Anon participation.
Today, the convention happens roughly the same way. The 61st convention is being held November 14-16 2025 at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough.
